Fort Campbell announced that the repair projects at Gate 7 and Ripcord Road were completed, with Gate 7 operations resuming at 5 a.m. on January 5, 2026. In its December 30, 2025 release, U.S. Army Garrison Fort Campbell said the work was intended to support the long-term sustainability of the Gate 7 and Ripcord roadway network. The release also described new traffic-pattern conditions, including speed tables, and asked travelers to use caution while becoming familiar with the layout. The garrison directs travelers to its gate-hours page or My Army Post App for live information. The completed work is an access update, not a guarantee that every traveler can use the gate at every hour or without the appropriate pass and vehicle eligibility.
